Cityworx is recruiting on behalf of an established provider of nurse-led community healthcare services seeking an experienced Registered Manager (Clinical) to lead complex care services supporting individuals with high-acuity needs. This is a senior clinical leadership position with full responsibility for CQC registration, compliance, governance, and operational performance. You will oversee autonomous community teams, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and to the highest clinical standards. The role requires a confident leader who combines strong regulatory knowledge with hands-on operational management and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory & Compliance
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager for regulated services
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and fundamental standards
- Lead inspections, audits, action plans and ongoing readiness
- Ensure policies, procedures and governance frameworks meet best practice
- Provide senior clinical oversight across complex care services
- Embed safeguarding, risk management and incident management frameworks
- Monitor clinical outcomes, audits and quality indicators
- Act as escalation point for high-risk clinical concerns
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery across community settings
- Lead and develop clinical and operational teams
- Ensure safe staffing, supervision and competency frameworks
- Monitor KPIs, quality and performance outcomes
- Support mobilisation of new care packages and service development
- Drive audit, reporting and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
- Use data and feedback to improve service performance
- Build relationships with commissioners, NHS partners and families
- Represent the service in professional and regulatory meetings
- Support growth through credible clinical leadership
Essential Requirements
- Registered healthcare professional (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or equivalent clinical leadership experience
- Previous Registered Manager experience in a CQC-regulated service
- Strong knowledge of inspections, governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience within community, nurse-led or complex care services
- Experience supporting high-acuity needs
- Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge
- Confident leadership of dispersed teams
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
