Cityworx are recruiting a Quality Compliance & Digital Lead who will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of digital care and clinical systems, strengthening quality governance frameworks, and ensuring full compliance with CQC and statutory requirements. This position combines expertise in digital transformation with a deep understanding of quality assurance, safeguarding, and risk management within health and social care.
The post-holder will support the Governance & Safeguarding Lead while also independently driving digital innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Digital Transformation & Systems Implementation
- Lead the planning, rollout, and optimisation of digital records systems, including electronic care planning, clinical notes, incident reporting, and audit tools.
- Collaborate with system vendors to configure, test, and embed platforms across all services.
- Develop digital workflows and processes ensuring usability, accuracy, and compliance.
- Train and support managers and frontline staff in the adoption of digital tools.
- Monitor data quality, reporting outputs, and digital performance indicators.
- Quality & Compliance
- Oversee quality assurance frameworks, audits, and inspection readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, standards, statutory guidance, and organisational policies.
- Analyse quality performance data to identify themes, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Produce high-quality reports for senior management and the Board, highlighting trends, compliance levels, and recommendations.
- Governance
- Support the Governance & Safeguarding Lead in maintaining robust governance processes and risk management systems.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and quality improvement strategies.
- Lead internal audits and ensure timely completion of action plans.
- Support with regulatory notifications, incident reviews, and service improvement plans.
- Safeguarding (within scope of Governance & Safeguarding Lead)
- Assist in safeguarding investigations, ensuring appropriate documentation, escalation, and learning.
- Promote a strong safeguarding culture across all services.
- Support staff training and ensure clear safeguarding responsibilities are understood and adhered to.
- Training & Support
- Develop training materials for digital systems, quality compliance, and governance processes.
- Coach and mentor managers to build their capability in digital literacy and quality assurance.
- Deliver workshops, 1:1 support, and continuous training as needed.
- Travel & Hybrid Working
- Travel across North London services (and occasionally further afield when required).
- Hybrid role with flexibility for on-site presence depending on operational needs.
- Proven experience in a digital transformation or quality/compliance leadership role within health or social care.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks, quality governance, and safeguarding principles.
- Experience implementing digital care or clinical record systems.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with an ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong communication, influencing, and change-management abilities.
- Able to work autonomously, lead projects, and manage competing priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
