Are you a Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for an opportunity to combine clinical leadership with operational management within an Outstanding-rated live-in care provider? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Registered Manager to lead and support a high-quality national live-in care service, ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients with complex healthcare needs whilst maintaining Outstanding standards. This is a unique opportunity for a nurse who enjoys both clinical oversight and service leadership.
You will act as the Registered Manager whilst providing clinical governance across a portfolio of complex live-in care packages.
The Role
- Acting as the CQC Registered Manager for the service.
- Providing clinical oversight of delegated healthcare tasks.
- Visiting clients across the UK to assess, review and oversee complex care packages.
- Completing initial clinical assessments and competency sign-offs for new healthcare interventions.
- Supporting care managers with complex clinical decision-making.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance and driving continuous quality improvement.
- Conducting audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure Outstanding standards are maintained.
- Supporting recruitment, retention and workforce development initiatives.
- Delivering and supporting monthly clinical training programmes.
- Representing the organisation at industry conferences, networking events and stakeholder meetings.
- Participating in the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 8).

- Long-Term Complex Healthcare Needs
You will oversee delegated healthcare tasks delivered by highly trained Healthcare Assistants and ensure clinical governance remains robust across all services.
Leadership Responsibilities
You will lead and support:
- 3 Care Managers
- Training Manager
- Audit Team
The organisation has invested heavily in developing its leadership structure, with Care Managers already trained to assess competencies and support staff development. The successful candidate will continue empowering the wider management team to take increasing operational responsibility.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.
- Previous Registered Manager experience or readiness to register with CQC.
- Strong clinical background within community, complex care or live-in care services.
- Experience overseeing delegated healthcare tasks.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and governance requirements.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally stay overnight when required.
