Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of an established domiciliary care provider in the Enfield area, who are looking for a full time, female only, driver, for a full time Care Worker position. While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. Please note - this role does offer in-country visa swap.
Job Description: To provide personal, practical, social and emotional support to people in their own homes, in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. The support provided by the Care Worker does not include tasks that would normally be undertaken by a qualified nurse unless specific training has been provided.
Duties will include:
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Shopping
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Taking Clients for appointments or outings
Requirements for the job:
- Be available to work full time, including early mornings or evenings and alternate weekends
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- 1 year working as a Care Worker in the UK
- Based locally, or willing to relocate
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
