Are you an experienced care professional with a passion for leadership and quality care delivery? We are recruiting a Deputy Manager to join a well-established domiciliary care service in Coventry. You’ll support the Registered Manager in running a high-performing service, overseeing care for up to 40 new short-term referrals weekly alongside long-term and private clients. This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role that combines operational management, people development, and regulatory compliance. ⭐ Key Responsibilities: * Support the Registered Manager in daily service operations * Oversee smooth intake and coordination of new referrals * Conduct assessments, reviews, and ensure care plans are current * Supervise and mentor care staff and care coordinators * Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff training * Handle rota planning, absence management, and HR issues * Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies * Contribute to audits, service improvements, and change initiatives * Communicate effectively with service users, families, staff, and external professionals * Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support ✅ Requirements: * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior or management role in domiciliary care * Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice standards * Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Able to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment * Confident using IT systems (Microsoft Office essential) * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle 🌟 Desirable: * NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) * Experience with care management systems (e.g. PASS, Care Planner) * Knowledge of local authority commissioning processes
