Cityworx Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for an experienced Manager to manage a supported living service based in the Chester ara.

They require a manager who is committed to meeting the needs of people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, physical disabilities and complex needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service and act as the person in charge including management of staff and expenditure.

Deliver the strategic and financial objectives agreed for the branch.

  • Build a competent team who maintain strong working relationships with each other and external stakeholders.
  • Make decisions on whether the service is able to meet the personal care needs of any prospective Service User and to negotiate fees if appropriate with the Service User’s family.
  • Develop of Service Plans for each Service User in conjunction with the Service User, their family and relevant professional agencies.

Ensure Service Users have a written copy of the “terms of engagement” and that each user and their representative understand these.

  • Prepare and manage rosters that ensure that sufficient staff are available at all times and that they are deployed as efficiently and effectively as possible so that the needs of Service Users can be met.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with Company policy and procedure, statutory and legal requirements.
  • Monitor quality by obtaining Service User and representative feedback, carrying out audits and requesting feedback from all members of staff and local authorities and use the findings to shape future services.
  • Create and actively manage partnerships with existing clients, health agencies, Service Users, Care/Support staff and management, including other organisations, to best meet Service User needs and maximise potential business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and excellence in all aspects of service delivery.
