Cityworx are recruiting for an experienced Care Coordinator to join an established complex care business based in the Southwark, London area. As a Care Coordinator your role is to assist the Registered Manager in organising the day-to-day running of the service where you will be responsible for the management and scheduling of service user rotas as well as participating in the on-call rota.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- 1 years experience as a Care Coordinator
- Willing to participate in the on-call rota
- Experience of managing complex care packages
Main Duties:
- Scheduling and managing service user rotas to meet staffing needs
- Assisting in the completion of audits
- Supporting in the development of care plans
- Managing and supporting staff so they can perform their roles safely
- Working alongside the management team to ensure all quality standards and procedures are adhered to
- Participating and attending regular meetings
- Participating in the recruitment of support workers
- Managing and reviewing performance of complex care support workers through probation periods, management practices, supervision sessions, spot checks, training records and an annual appraisal
- Managing complaints and ensuring managers are informed of these
