We are focused on high-quality, exclusive coverage that goes beyond press releases, and you will be at the heart of our newsroom, helping a talented team of reporters turn raw ideas into must-read stories. - Building strong relationships with our reporters to help them shape their ideas, refine their angles and push their articles further.
- Developing your own original stories and features by building relationships with senior industry figures and extracting insights from our data.
- Organising key elements of our news and features coverage, including setting clear deadlines, word counts, and editorial direction for contributors.
- Acting as a key face of NMA by maintaining and building relationships with senior leaders across the financial advice space.
What we are looking for:
- Editorial Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role at a trade or national (full-time or freelance) at a senior level.
- Sharp Editing Skills: A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to elevate copy, ensuring it resonates with a professional audience.
- Highly Organised: A natural coordinator who can manage deadlines and editorial schedules.
- Relationship Builder: Confident and professional, you are comfortable engaging with senior industry figures and collaborating across internal teams.
- Data Literate: Comfortable working with numbers and data to uncover trends and drive original reporting.

Our perks:
- Generous holiday entitlement: Start with 25 days per annum, increasing to 28 days after three years' service, and 30 days after five years' service, in addition to bank holidays.

- Well-being support: Access to an independent Employee Assistance Programme, available 24/7.
- Cycle to work scheme and annual travel card loans.
- Techscheme: Purchase the latest tech through our employer scheme, spreading the cost over 12 months with National Insurance savings.
