As a Product & Research Executive, you’ll be a vital engine of Citywire’s business, sitting at the intersection of data integrity, investigative research, and client success. This role is designed for a proactive individual who thrives on both data analysis and client engagement. Beyond keeping our platforms running seamlessly, you will play a key part in strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities to refine our commercial data tools as we grow globally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively source information from annual reports and financial statements to extract metrics on assets under management.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day health of our data products to ensure all platforms run smoothly and remain a trusted resource.
- Maintain and update critical data points across GFI and MPS platforms with a goal of 100% accuracy.
- Act as a point of contact for client requests, including onboarding new users and completing research tasks.
- Assist in researching financial institutions to identify emerging trends within the wealth management and private banking sectors.
What we’re looking for:
- Investigative Mindset: A proactive approach to finding information within complex financial documents.
- Experience: Previous experience in a research, analyst, or support role is preferred, ideally within the finance or data sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, particularly the ability to use VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal skills for communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Industry Interest: A foundational understanding of financial services; specific knowledge of European banks or MPS is a significant plus, but training will be provided.
