We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join our Attendance and Engagement Team at the PRU. The core aim of the role is to support young people to overcome a range of barriers to improve their engagement with education. It is essential that you hold a driving licence and are confident to drive school transport. You will be expected to work within the school’s policy expectations, strengthening links with young people, their families and other agencies.
Responsibilities

- Have strong pastoral skills and behaviour management strategies

- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire students
- Understand and demonstrate the importance of attention to detail in their work
Qualifications and Requirements
- Driving licence and confidence to drive school transport
- Commitment to ensuring that children make rapid progress in a supportive and caring environment

- Experience or eligibility in working with young people within an educational setting is desirable
