About the Role
Alder Brook provides provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in Winton, Salford, and in Irlam. We educate pupils on site in KS1 & KS2. We are currently recruiting a Passenger Assistant to work on our home to school transport.
Responsibilities
- Assist children with various special education needs and help ensure they are transported to school in a safe and caring way.
- Working 20 hours part time, 5 days a week, during school term time only.
- Being collected and dropped off by the vehicle driver each day at a specified location.
- Working 4 hours per day over a split shift of 2 x 2 hours. Hours may include a 7.30am – 7.45am start, and an afternoon finish time up to 4pm – 4.15pm (1.30 – 2.30pm on Friday).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Caring nature and reliable, able to commit working all school days during the school year.
- Full enhanced DBS check required.
- If you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years or 12 months or more in the last 10 years at age 18 or over, you must obtain Certificates of Good Character.
