At Citywide care agency we are looking for someone who can provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and overall wellbeing. Note: This is a door to door job, so please only apply if you are willing to do this.

Key responsibilities and duties will include:
/n
/n
- Assist clients with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
/n
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment (where trained).
/n
- Prompt, assist, or administer medication in line with care plans and company policies.
/n
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding where required.
/n
- Encourage and monitor adequate nutrition and hydration.
/n
- Carry out light household duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
/n
- Support clients with shopping, collecting prescriptions, and attending appointments.
/n
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce social isolation.
/n
- Encourage independence and participation in daily living activities.
/n
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health to the appropriate person.
/n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
/n
- Follow safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect.
/n
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
/n
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients’ privacy and dignity.
/n
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
/n
- Be able to work during nights, if needed.
/n

Essential:

- Candidate must live in London Borough of Ealing and has good knowledge of the area
/n
- Caring, compassionate, and patient nature
/n
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
/n
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
/n
- Reliable and trustworthy
/n
- Willingness to undertake DBS checks
/n

Desirable:

/n
- Previous experience in a care setting
/n
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
