As a Digital Marketing Tutor in the WAES, you can make your own powerful contribution by helping Westminster’s adult learners develop new skills that will improve their employment prospects. Shaping the next generation of digital marketeers, you will help individuals develop the knowledge and practical experience they need for a career in digital marketing, which on a larger scale, will help us build a digitally-savvy community.
Crafting teaching activities and learning materials that you feel will best connect with your students, you will plan, organise and deliver a wide variety of interesting approaches that are jam-packed with industry-relevant knowledge. This will include creating Individual Learning Plans, and assessing learners’ capabilities, so they are ready for any qualifications they are pursuing. You will also offer in-depth feedback via one-to-ones and tutorials so that your students are fully equipped to find roles in the digital marketing sector, and you will find plenty of job satisfaction in helping every learner flourish.
With the full support of a diverse team who come from all walks of life, this is a unique opportunity to join colleagues who have a shared passion for innovation.
We are looking for a E- commerce/ Digital Marketing tutor, to teach on our Level 3 accredited provision from March 2025: https://www.waes.ac.uk/courses/cat/bac/marketing/C0101/
With the flexibility to work across all 3 WAES sites and in community settings too, this is a fascinating opportunity to develop your professional expertise in a fun and dynamic environment. You’ll bring a positive approach to every educational setting, be that a one-on-one or when working with a group of learners. It therefore goes without saying that you’ll have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a Level 3 teaching qualification, and a Level 4 qualification in your subject area.
Above all else, your knowledge of digital and social media marketing will be exceptional, and you’ll ideally have current experience of teaching adults, with an understanding of Virtual Learning Environments.
A Basic DBS is required for this post, and you will be willing to work towards an assessor award if you do not already have this qualification.
