As a Care Markets Manager, you can make your own powerful contribution. Our Adults Wellbeing Service does vital work across Westminster, putting residents at the heart of everything they do. In this role, you'll support the Markets Team Manager to develop and deliver the strategic agenda for the service, identifying opportunities to improve resident experience, and working collaboratively with communities to co-design and implement change projects that bring positive impacts to service users.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a portfolio of Adults and Wellbeing contracts, ensuring contracts deliver service improvements and value for money, with a customer-focused approach.
- Work to mitigate risk and implement projects that address current and future needs of residents.
- Act as a source of advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders; prepare performance reports that summarise and convey the impacts of your work.
Qualifications
- Established professional with previous contract management experience; good working knowledge of Adult Social Services.
- Experience delivering effective contract management including performance monitoring, minimisation of risk, and identifying financial efficiencies.
- Knowledge and understanding of the commissioning cycle, contract relationship management, and best practice performance management methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, contractors, and agencies; comfortable challenging poor performance and holding contractors to account.
