As a Ceramics Tutor in our Adult Education Service (WAES), you will provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners across Westminster. You will inspire, motivate, and encourage them to achieve their creative potential. This is an hourly paid role covering Thursdays from 09:30 to 16:30, starting 17 September.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and deliver lessons to adult learners.
- Track learner progress and provide advice and guidance through one-to-ones and tutorials.
- Carry out marking and assessments and work proactively to maximise outcomes.
- Identify progression opportunities for learners.
Qualifications:
- Established professional with a Ceramics qualification at Level 4.
- Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Strong industry knowledge and experience in contemporary ceramics practice.
- Experience teaching adult learners on accredited courses.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate diverse groups across mixed abilities.
