The support of an accountant and bookkeeper would be absolutely invaluable for the City Sprout team.
Currently, a large proportion of our time is spent on figuring out finances, but hiring an accountant is beyond the organisation's means.
Your’re support would enable the team to focus on outreach and engagement with local communities to learn more about their local environment.

What will you be doing?
The City Sprout Game CIC team is youth-led, consisting of 4 volunteers aged 22-30.
Time commitment variable, usually no more than 1h/week.
- Financial Recordkeeping Accurately record financial transactions including tracking income, expenses, and payments to ensure that financial records are up to date.
- Bank Reconciliation Regularly compare company financial records with bank statements to identify discrepancies and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Tax Compliance Ensure that all financial practices comply with applicable laws and regulations, including timely filing of taxes. Our first set of accounts are due in January.
- Into the Future (6-12 months)
- Payroll Processing Assist in processing payroll by calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
