Operations Coordinator (OOH) – Permanent, Field – CitySprint
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £18.31 per hour
Hours: Saturday & Sunday shifts 08:00–18:00, 18 hours per week including bank holidays

Overview
CitySprint is on a fast track to become the UK’s leading courier services provider. We need a top‑notch Operations Coordinator to support our Out‑of‑Hours team, ensuring smooth coordination between couriers, suppliers and staff, and delivering excellent service for customers and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone lines promptly and professionally.
- Arrange relevant collections, transit routes and deliveries.
- Input event tracking for all bookings and in‑transit consignments.
- Liaise with Operations and Imports to ensure correct SLA for imports.
- Provide customers with updates on all exceptions or issues.
- Request and enter all PODs from relevant agents.
- Report all discrepancies to managers.
- Provide quotes when requested to the relevant customer.
- Monitor emails for the Service Centre.
- Work with suppliers (agents) to deliver a seamless, high‑quality customer experience.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting dispatch and vehicle allocation.
- Treats people with respect under all circumstances.
- Responds promptly and appropriately to the needs of customers and suppliers.
- Ensures all jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales.
- Handles client operational queries effectively and promptly.
