Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement function and develop a procurement strategy.
- Establish and embed a clear Procurement Policy.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on strategic procurement planning.
- Provide strong commercial leadership to shape and deliver strategic objectives.
- Review, improve and optimise existing procurement processes.
- Implement a formal Contract Management framework.
- Strengthen supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
- Identify new product opportunities from concept to fulfilment.
- Assess and quantify the financial impact of key decisions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite for the Board.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- A strong track record of implementing procurement strategy.
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in creating and maintaining internal monitoring systems.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience as a Head of Procurement or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience developing procurement functions.
- Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership teams.
- Strong background in contract management and supplier relationship management.
- Experience leading or contributing to business transformation within procurement.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
