CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for a Service Centre Manager in London.
You will manage all operational functions within the Service Centre, fostering a ‘Best in Business’ culture. Your role involves developing colleagues, achieving strategic objectives, driving revenue and profit growth, meeting SLAs, ensuring client retention, and enhancing operational efficiencies and colleague development aligned with EBITDA targets.
A successful Service Centre Manager will optimize all operational aspects, support the Regional Manager in delivering operational excellence through budget management, efficiency improvements, new business implementation, and customer retention, establishing a ‘Partner of Choice’ reputation. You will also support and develop in-house colleagues to ensure the overall success of the Service Centre.
The main responsibilities include:
- Manage and exceed financial targets (revenue, profit, EBITDA) through budget review and monitoring.
- Review operational stats to identify efficiencies and productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers and internal partners on new business opportunities and sector development.
- Identify stakeholders and deliver cross-functional optimisation.
- Mentor peers to develop a strong, passionate, and successful team through performance management and communication.
- Manage operational requirements during peak periods to minimize disruption.
- Oversee attendance, performance, and conduct in line with policies, taking action when necessary.
- Recruit and build a motivated team capable of delivering results.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in creating, analysing, and disseminating operational reports, and achieving business targets.
- Objective troubleshooting and solution pursuit when issues occur.
- Ability to reprioritize tasks in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
- Success in managing and exceeding budget targets.
- Experience in team management, mentoring, and development.
- Knowledge of in-house systems like CityTrak, X-Despatch 3, Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
