This is where YOU come in! CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Procurement. You will be responsible for leading the procurement function and developing a procurement strategy focused on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and sustainable supplier partnerships.
Main responsibilities:
- Establish and embed a clear Procurement Policy.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on strategic procurement planning.
- Provide strong commercial leadership to shape and deliver strategic objectives.
- Review and optimise existing procurement processes.
- Implement a formal Contract Management framework.
- Strengthen supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
- Identify new product opportunities from concept to fulfilment.
- Assess financial impact of key strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite for the Board.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- A strong track record of implementing procurement strategy.
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in creating internal monitoring and governance systems.
- Strong negotiation and networking skills.
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role.
- Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes.
- Strong background in contract management and supplier relationship management.
- Experience leading business transformation or process improvement.
