What will I be doing?
This is an office-based role which focuses on driving growth in the SME market. You will be responsible for a portfolio and will be targeted to deliver new business, retention and growth as well as supporting the regional Business Development Executives through the generation of face-to-face appointments by proactively canvassing new business by telephone, email and social channels within your area of responsibility. This will involve a high level of outbound engagement activity at the highest level to achieve your KPIs.
Responsibilities within the Inside Sales Executive role:
- Manage a portfolio of existing Inside Sales customers through regular outbound call activity in line with the customer contact strategy to maximise the customer experience and reduce churn.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the current customer portfolio through analysing customer data, behaviour and trends.
- Manage new business and growth opportunities through the CitySprint opportunity sales cycle to ensure conversion rates are achieved.
- Achievement of all KPIs including the generation of appointments for the respective Business Development Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in Salesforce.
- Work closely with the local operational teams and internal stakeholders to support with customer queries to deliver outstanding service performance to all customers in the portfolio.
The key skills we need you to have for the role include:
- Proven success in telesales or inside sales, driving revenue growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle objections and engage new and existing customers.
- Skilled in cross-selling and upselling to increase share of wallet.
- Experience transitioning accounts from non-trading to active status.
- Ability to build multi-contact strategies and retain client relationships.
- Effective stakeholder collaboration across all functions.
- Proactive approach to process improvement and customer experience.
- Previous experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
