Salary: £26,770 - £28,640
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday anytime between 9 am to 6 pm.

As a controller, you will be responsible for the allocation, co-ordination and ongoing monitoring of all work assigned to your circuit. You will liaise with various members of both your own team and across other departments to ensure service excellence, taking a pro-active and professional approach to all communications. You will use your geographical and technical knowledge to plan the work allowing maximum use of resources and providing a superior service to our customers and clients. You will work in accordance to company guidelines and positively contribute to the operation of the control room.
The main responsibilities within the Controller role are:
- Allocate work efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Remain mindful of the customer’s needs and deadlines.
- Continually monitor the status of live work, making changes where necessary.
- Assist the Control room manager with the day-to-day running of the department.
- Manage the workload in accordance with individual SLA’s for each circuit.
- Liaise with the Customer Care Co-Ordinators providing accurate real-time information.
- Contribute positively to the control room dynamic.
- Ensure reasonable care of your own health and safety and of others.
- Ensure customer and personal information is processed in line with GDPR policy.
The key skills we need you to have for the role include:
- Experience working in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
- Experience working as a controller or in a London based control room.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident phone manner.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- MS Office - including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Conditional job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
