The role:

This is a field‑based role focused on growing our SME customer base. You’ll be proactive, sales‑driven, and confident working independently — spotting opportunities, opening doors, and converting prospects into long‑term CitySprint customers.

Why CitySprint:

You’ll also have the backing of a well‑established, trusted brand with nationwide reach.

Who we are:

CitySprint is a UK‑wide logistics business delivering same‑day and time‑critical services for customers who need pace, reliability and great judgement. We’re part of DPD and the wider Geopost group — giving us the stability, scale and investment of a leading international delivery network — while CitySprint continues to operate with its own distinct focus and fast‑moving culture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying and winning new SME customers through proactive prospecting
  • Building and managing a robust new‑business pipeline
  • Generating leads via outbound activity, networking and market research
  • Presenting tailored solutions, negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Managing opportunities through the full CitySprint sales cycle
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of new customers to operations and account management teams
  • Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and tracking performance against KPIs
  • Working closely with operations and marketing to deliver the best customer outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a sales, business development or commercial role
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
  • A proactive, target‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Confidence presenting solutions and handling objections
  • Organised, resilient and comfortable managing a busy pipeline
  • Previous experience using a CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
  • Experience in logistics or a service‑led industry is helpful, but not essential
