About the company:

Our client is an award winning remediation contractor who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their client’s individual needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the South of England for local authorities, main contractors and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation / development platform preparation on brownfield sites.

About the opportunity:

Due to successful company expansion, our client is recruiting permanently for a Business Development / Pre-Construction Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will play a critical role in sustaining their market-leading position and business growth. You will represent the company at client meetings and industry events, leveraging your existing knowledge of the remediation/waste/geoenvironmental sector, their own extensive network of clients and your network of contacts to forge new partnerships and expand the company’s client base.

In addition to this, you will hold key responsibility for the coordination and submission of industry-leading tender responses, using your own skills and experience and crucially organising and liaising with the Technical, Commercial and Operational counterparts. This position requires a confident, self-motivated professional who can represent the brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this exciting opportunity, the salary on offer has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however professionals can expect to target a remuneration between £75,000 - £95,000 per annum. In addition to this, a competitive benefits package is available including a bonus scheme, along with excellent career development and progression opportunities and also flexible working options (hybrid / remote working).

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold proven experience of working in a client facing sales role within the environmental sector. You must hold a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, be willing to travel UK wide and hold a full UK driving license. If you hold a technical background and contracting experience, this would be a significant advantage.
