About the Company A forward thinking, multi-disciplinary Construction and real estate consultancy based in London, are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team. Working in Commercial and offering multi-disciplinary services, they are well placed to capitalise on their reputation in the market. With several ongoing, long-term projects, the successful Building Surveyor will be joining a company that can offer stability and strong career progression support. The individual will be joining an organisation who offer a full construction consultancy service in a cohesive, problem-solving manner. About the Role The successful Building Surveyor will largely be office based and provide initial diagnostics to allocate the right resources. You will then propose and quote a testing strategy. The successful Building Surveyor will liaise with the survey technicians to interpret results, agree findings and make recommendations. In some instances, you will write remedial works specifications and arrange / manage those repairs. The role will require a large amount of phone work and client interaction, so strong people skills are a must. About the Requirements The successful Building Surveyor should be able to demonstrate the following: * Have higher education qualification in construction related subject. * Have a proven practical ability in problem solving. * Have a strong focus on providing good customer service. * Have very strong communication skills on telephone and email. About the salary Salary is negotiable, dependent on the individuals experience but up to £75,000. Other benefits include, generous pension contribution, generous annual leave entitlement and amazing career progression, RICS support available, subscriptions paid for and private healthcare.
