We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee residential construction and renovation projects across the West Midlands. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, ensure health & safety compliance, and deliver projects to a high standard, on time and within budget. Projects include house extensions, full property renovations, loft conversions, structural alterations, and bespoke residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction sites from project start through to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, suppliers, and deliveries
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress reports
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Liaise with clients, architects, building control, and senior management
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally
- Organize materials, labor, and scheduling to avoid delays
Requirements
- 2 Years + experience as a Site Manager within residential construction
- Strong knowledge of extensions, renovations, and structural building works
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety requirements
- SMSTS certification preferred
- CSCS card required
- Full UK driving license required
