Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some construction or surveying experience who is keen to progress their career within a supportive environment. Graduates and Trainee Quantity Surveyors with a relevant qualification will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and tender analysis.
- Supporting the commercial management of residential developments.
- Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Assisting with cost planning and budget control.
- Supporting the preparation of final accounts.
- Working closely with site, technical and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Previous construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn.
