I’m working with a well-established specialist contractor within the metal roofing and façade sector, who are looking to bring in an experienced Façade Estimator to strengthen their commercial team. This is a great opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roofing, cladding and façade packages across a wide range of projects. The role will be based out of their Waltham Abbey office, with flexibility for some hybrid working once settled in.
The Role
- Preparing detailed tenders for façade and cladding packages (including Tier 1 contractors)
- Carrying out accurate take-offs and producing scope mark-ups using Bluebeam
- Pricing labour, materials, prelims, overheads and profit
- Reviewing specifications, drawings and programme constraints
- Issuing enquiries and liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Supporting value engineering options where possible
- Attending client meetings and negotiating tenders
- Supporting handover into commercial and delivery teams once projects are secured
Projects can range from smaller packages through to multi-million-pound façade schemes.
