A well-established and growing main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, delivering a range of high-profile new build, refurbishment, residential, commercial, healthcare, and mixed-use projects across London and the South East. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account
- Preparing valuations, variations, cost reports, and subcontractor payments
- Supporting procurement and subcontract package management
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring commercial targets are achieved
- Working closely with site and operational teams throughout project delivery
- Managing client and subcontractor relationships
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks across projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting
- Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently
- Degree qualified or relevant construction qualification preferred
