About the Opportunity:
I am looking for an experienced groundwork Senior Quantity Surveyor that is interested in joining a well-established and leading groundwork contractor who are based in Bedfordshire. Your position in the business will report directly to the commercial director, and you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of groundwork packages from project award stages through to final account. There is room for progression within this business, and you can be confident in your employer as they are widely recognised as a leading business in this market and they currently turnover above £150m per annum. We are looking for career-focused individuals who want the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team that is working on excellent projects. This position will be based at our client's head office in the Northern Home Counties (near Toddington). The business currently turns over in excess of £150 million per annum, and has a reputation for a modern and quality-focused approach. They have live projects with a variety of the top house-builders in the UK and have a full pipeline secured for 2026 going into 2027. Having met the directors of the business, I can confidently say this groundwork contractor is looking to stand out from their competition, harnessing innovation, a fresh brand image, and a focus on being the best at what they do.
About the Requirements:
To be successful, individuals need to have worked for rival groundwork subcontractors in the UK as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS. Your hard work will be rewarded, and opportunity will be there, but this previous experience in this sector is a must. Due to the technical nature of the position, it is also crucial that all applicants are degree-qualified in quantity surveying or commercial management. And due to the location of our client’s office, it is also advisable that applicants are based in or around Bedfordshire.
