This position will be based at our client's head office in Bedfordshire. The business currently turns over in excess of £100 million per annum, and has a reputation for a modern and quality-focused approach. They have live projects with a variety of the top house-builders in the UK and have a full pipeline secured for 2026.
About the Role:
- Provide full administrative and executive support to the Managing Director, including diary management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
- Act as a key point of contact between the Directors and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Manage confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Assist in organising company events, meetings, and client engagements.
- Handle ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Identifies potential problems early and takes a proactive approach to resolving them.
- Is protective of the Managing Director's time, in a firm, respectful manner.
- Ability to manage relationships with senior staff and clients and handle difficult personalities in a diplomatic way.
About the Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PA or Executive Assistant, within a professional or technical industry (construction, engineering, or property experience advantageous).
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital organisation tools.
- Confident, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
About the Salary:
For the successful individual, our client is prepared to pay a market-leading salary and package to make sure they secure the best person. They understand that everyone looks for progression as they make career moves, and the bracket listed above is negotiable (i.e. £30,000 - £50,000), plus the additions of a car allowance, pension, and bonuses will be available.
