About the Company:

Our client have been established as a housebuilder for over 60 years and currently have regional office bases throughout the UK. They are recognised as the highest quality major national housebuilder, having been awarded an exclusive ‘5 Star Housebuilder Award’ by the Homebuilders Federation. Projects to date range vastly in terms of specification and construction technique dependant on the location of the regional office. Major projects include multi-unit RC frame structures in Central London as well as town and village regeneration and low rise traditional build housing.

About the Role:

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator. They are looking for someone who has a solid work background and who has experience working for a Residential Developer. It is essential that you have knowledge of building processes covering residential projects with ideally traditional build homes. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Manage the preparation and approval of technical drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate the design process from planning application to construction stage
  • Liaise with external consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and company standards
  • Support value engineering exercises to ensure commercial viability
  • Attend site meetings and provide ongoing technical support to site teams
  • Identify and manage potential risks and technical issues proactively

About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £54k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits including car allowance, bonus and private healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an assistant/technical coordinator
  • Must have worked for a Residential Developer within recent years
  • Must have residential build experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
  • Degree preferred
