The Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of construction operations on-site. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and the internal project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with company standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour to achieve programme targets.
  • Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
  • Ensure the highest standards of workmanship and site presentation.
  • Maintain effective communication between stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across all site operations.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential or mixed-use construction sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and quality management.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent).
