Our client is a leading groundworks partner supporting the modular construction sector, known for their solutions-driven mindset and commitment to empowering modular providers to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager — ideally bringing a trusted gang/team — to join their growing operations team on a series of short, fast-paced modular projects. The Role You’ll be responsible for overseeing all site operations, ensuring groundworks and foundation packages for modular buildings are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Each project runs on a 6-week programme, requiring strong organisation, leadership, and the ability to keep momentum across multiple concurrent sites. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day site activities and workforce (including gangs). * Oversee groundworks, deep drainage, and foundations for modular builds. * Coordinate materials, labour, and subcontractors efficiently. * Maintain strict health & safety and quality control standards. * Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery. * Support landscaping, finishing works, and site handovers. Ideal Candidate * Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or modular construction. * Strong background in deep drainage, foundations, and external works. * Able to manage and motivate teams, ideally bringing your own established gang. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Proactive, adaptable, and able to problem-solve under pressure.
