Opportunity Details
I am looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors interested in joining concrete frame and groundwork subcontractors. Your position, no matter which of the businesses we consider, will report directly to the commercial director, and you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of concrete frame, basement, and groundwork packages from award through to final account. There is room for progression with several of these businesses as they are currently expanding their commercial teams. So, I am looking for career-focused individuals who want the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team that is all working towards building a great business in this competitive sector. Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors are in demand, so whether you would like to work for a smaller business turning over circa £40m per annum, or if you want to work for one of the biggest in this field, turning over £300m, I have options for you. Office locations vary, but include: London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Surrey, Middlesex, and Essex. All of these contractors complete projects in and around London. Requirements
- To be successful, individuals need to have worked for rival concrete frame or groundwork subcontractors in the UK as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- You must be degree-qualified in quantity surveying or commercial management.
- Based in or around the London/South East area (or be able to be based near there for work). Travel will include projects all over London.
- Hybrid working is available with a few; depending on the company, you may be more office-based or site-based.
Benefits
- Salary targeting £70,000 to £100,000 per annum (QS vs Senior QS).
- Comprehensive packages including pension, car or travel allowance, and good bonus schemes.
- Self-employed options considered (limited company or similar). Day rates will be negotiated to reach a similar annual amount.
