About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This dual role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who has demonstrable experience in both project management and quantity surveying — or for those who specialise in one discipline but are open to expanding their remit. You will play a key role in delivering a variety of projects from inception through to completion, working with a diverse range of clients in sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare. The successful candidate will be client-facing, confident managing project teams, and capable of leading cost management and/or project delivery services depending on their core strengths. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage construction projects across all stages of the lifecycle * Provide cost planning, estimating, procurement advice, contract administration and final account settlement * Act as Employer’s Agent and/or Project Manager under various forms of contract * Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process * Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery * Work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure expectations are met or exceeded * Identify and manage risk throughout project delivery About the Requirements * Professionally qualified (e.g. MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) or working towards chartered status * Proven experience in a consultancy environment as either a Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, or in a combined role * Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts (particularly JCT and NEC) * Excellent client-facing and communication skills * Strong organisational and leadership capabilities * Comfortable working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team About the Salary * Salary is negotiable depending on the individual and their experience * Opportunity to work on a wide variety of high-profile projects * Supportive and collaborative team culture * Career development and chartership support * Competitive salary and benefits package * Flexible/hybrid working options available To Apply: If you are a Consultancy based Quantity Surveyor of any level and seeking a new role, please contact Ilaria Ferrentino at Cityscape.
