You'll oversee a team of engineers, drive technical excellence across complex projects, and work directly with clients while having a genuine opportunity to progress into senior management and ultimately Director level.
Working on projects ranging from £500k to £30m, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, delivering bespoke electrical building services solutions across sectors including mission critical, healthcare, medical, industrial, and data centers.
The Role- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–4 engineers and junior designers.
- Take ownership of projects ranging from £500k–£30m in value.
- Develop initial design concepts and oversee technical delivery across the wider team.
- Deliver projects through RIBA Stages 1–6, from concept design through to completion.
- Attend and lead client meetings, acting as the key technical point of contact.
- Coordinate project resources, programs, and design deliverables.
- Ensure designs meet technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth of the department.
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong track record delivering electrical building services projects through RIBA Stages 1–3, with experience across Stages 4–6 highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineers or design teams.
- Experience delivering projects within the mission critical, healthcare, medical, industrial or data centre sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design and UK regulations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Commercially aware and capable of managing project deliverables and resources.
