About the opportunity: Due to healthy order books and company expansion, there is a need for a degree-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager in the successful commercial and financial management of complex remediation and enabling works projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams, has strong commercial and contractual expertise, and can confidently manage projects from tender through to final account. You'll be responsible for the commercial management of projects, working closely with Project Managers and site teams to maximise commercial performance, administer contracts, manage subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered profitably whilst maintaining strong client relationships. About the requirements: In order to be considered for this position, professionals will need to be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar. Additionally, professionals must have a minimum of 7 years post graduate experience and this must have been gained whilst working within the civil engineering, remediation or enabling works sectors, whilst working for a contractor in the UK. You must hold strong practical experience of both NEC and JCT forms of contract and a full UK driving licence is required, along with willingness to travel to sites throughout the UK when required. About the package/benefits: For this permanent position, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however, successful professionals could expect to target a basic salary anywhere from £75,000 - £85,000. In addition to this, a generous package is offered which includes a car allowance, subsistence for working away, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (rising with service), private health care, enrolment in their pension scheme, paid time off for volunteering days, life assurance and professional membership fees will be covered.
