Current turnover is over £100m per annum, and they have consistently worked at the cutting edge of the sector. They currently complete packages ranging in value from £10m up to £50m on a mixture of residential, commercial, educational, and leisure projects throughout London, Cambridgeshire, Birmingham, and other areas. This business prides itself on its high repeat business rate and its in-house capability to take complex projects from design through to completion.
About the Opportunity
With projects secured, this business is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager for a project near Peterborough. All projects include RC frames, groundwork, and sometimes basement works, with your first project being a £25m+ package. As the lead on your project, you will be expected to oversee everything from programme to budget. Client relationships should be developed, and it will be your responsibility to organise, plan and execute the works involved in multi-million-pound groundwork and RC frame packages.
About the Requirements
Suitable candidates need to be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and must show a strong history from a site engineer level through to project management over the last 5-10+ years. It is crucial that candidates can demonstrate a strong amount of concrete frame construction experience, having worked for rival concrete frame and groundwork subcontractors in the UK. Candidates from solely a main contract or development background cannot be considered. Project Managers will be required to use Microsoft programmes, standard email functions, and Asta Power Project for planning/programming works.
