I'm currently working with one of the most exciting up-and-coming commercial fit-out contractors in London. My client specialises in creating stunning commercial fit-out interiors. This business has only been in operation for a couple of years but is destined for great things. Its management team are all very experienced, having come from one of the industry's biggest companies.
About the role:
- Generate innovative concepts and ideas, and present them effectively to internal teams and external clients.
- Develop spatial planning layouts and schematic design proposals.
- Define and refine the material palette for projects.
- Contribute to creating detailed drawings and presentation materials to clearly convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of precise drawings, technical details, schedules, and specifications for tender submissions.
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate as part of a team to deliver projects successfully from concept through to completion.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing concept-to-completion project involvement.
- Proficiency in spatial planning, schematic design, and material development.
- Skilled in creating detailed drawings, technical documentation, and presentation materials using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Strong understanding of FF&E sourcing, selection, and specification.
- Knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
