As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public-health (MEP) works across complex residential, mixed-use, and high-specification projects. You will run projects across London and surrounding areas, working closely with design, estimating, and prefabrication teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Your role will include:
- Develop and maintain project plans; coordinate with design, engineering, and prefabrication teams to ensure smooth MEP delivery.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control financial variations.
- Ensure all installations comply with H&S regulations and quality standards, managing inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Lead on-site teams, subcontractors, and act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, manage change control, and maintain robust reporting and project documentation.
You will need:
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and MEP systems (e.g., HVAC, plantroom equipment, service risers)
- Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing MEP projects in London / South East
- willingness to travel to sites across the region and occasionally nationwide as required
