About the company: Our client is an award-winning remediation contractor who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their clients’ individual needs. To date, our client has completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants, either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor, which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation/development platform preparation on brownfield sites. Our client recruits only the best people, who are motivated, dedicated and can work with a professional outlook. Having worked closely with this client for many years, I would highly recommend them as they offer an excellent working environment where they encourage professionals to grow, develop and expand. Furthermore, with a close management team, the business has the ability to offer a real family feel, assuring that you will be a name rather than just a number within the organisation.

About the opportunity: Due to continued expansion and confirmed workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Remediation Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the profitable delivery of remediation projects throughout the South of England. The opportunity will incorporate a mix of office-based working (although some flexibility to work from home is available) as well as being based on sites throughout the South East of England. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure objectives and scope are delivered including writing programmes and updating against progress; managing the technical and commercial aspects of the project; managing contract variations and communicating changes to the project team; supervising technical staff; liaising with the client; ensuring legislative compliance on projects and carrying out report writing to name just a few duties.

About the benefits and rewards: For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, a generous benefits package will be offered, which includes a company vehicle, an annual bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays), a 5% employer pension contribution, the option to enrol in a healthcare benefits scheme, payment of professional membership fees, and support towards achieving professional qualifications such as chartership. Furthermore, excellent career development and training opportunities are available.

About the requirements: In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should hold a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in contaminated land remediation, including experience in a contracting role and project management. Experience in earthworks and geotechnical engineering will also be considered. Working knowledge of earthworks practices and soil and groundwater remedial approaches is desirable, although further training will be provided as required. Due to projects being throughout the South East, you must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel / work away from home when required (subsistence will be covered).

How to apply: If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please send a copy of your CV to me or call the main office landline to discuss further on a confidential basis.
