We are working with an established and highly respected main contractor with a strong track record across the UK and Ireland, delivering complex projects across hotel & leisure, residential, commercial, healthcare and specialist construction

They are currently looking to appoint an experienced

Senior Site Manager to join their London team.

The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

  • Managing and coordinating site activities and subcontractors.
  • Leading works through key construction stages.
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
  • Managing short-term programmes and coordinating labour, materials and resources.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager, design team, commercial team and wider site management.
  • Monitoring progress and identifying potential issues before they impact programme or quality.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high standards of health, safety and site presentation.
  • Coordinating inspections, quality control and snagging activities.
  • Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in major construction or complex refurbishment projects.

Candidates must have proven experience in both Cut & Carve and Structural Steel

You will also ideally have

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Site Manager or similar.
  • Experience delivering large-scale commercial, hotel, residential or complex refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics and site management.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
  • The ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and strong attention to detail.
