We are working with a leading international construction and fit-out specialist to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for their UK operations. This is a confidential opportunity with a well-established, financially secure, family-owned organisation operating across multiple global markets.
The business delivers high-quality interior fit-out, building envelope, fire protection, and building services solutions on complex projects across commercial, infrastructure, and specialist sectors. The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for major projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full commercial management of large, technically complex projects
- Cost planning, forecasting, and budget control
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Contract administration (NEC / JCT experience preferred)
- Valuations, variations, and final account negotiation
- Supporting project teams to maximise commercial performance and minimise risk
- Reporting to senior management on project financial status
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or specialist fit-out
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience delivering projects in live environments or fast-paced programmes
