Our client is a well-established specialist contractor operating across the London construction market, delivering complex reinforced concrete frame and cut & carve projects. With a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging schemes, they work across commercial, residential, mixed-use and refurbishment sectors on projects ranging from £10m - £20m+. The business continues to secure repeat work with leading main contractors and developers, with a growing pipeline of high-profile London projects.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key commercial role across a range of RC frame and cut & carve developments throughout London.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts, cost reporting and final accounts.
  • Working closely with project and operational teams to maximise commercial performance across multiple schemes.
  • Assisting with procurement and subcontract package management.
  • Supporting the delivery of complex structural and refurbishment packages within tight project programmes.
  • Producing accurate financial forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
  • Experience working on RC frame, structural, demolition, cut & carve or specialist subcontract packages.
  • Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline preferred.
