About the Company

Our client is a well-established reinforced concrete frame and groundwork contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, high-profile developments across the U.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Director or Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major city-centre development.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a flagship project valued at approximately £20 million, with works due to commence in November.

Joining during the pre-construction phase, you will play a key role in programme planning, buildability, procurement and client liaison before leading the project through to successful completion.

The scheme comprises

  • 30-storey reinforced concrete core
  • Extensive basement construction
  • Major slipform package
  • Complex city-centre logistics

You will take overall responsibility for project delivery, leading the site management team, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

  • Proven experience delivering high-rise reinforced concrete frame projects.
  • Previous experience managing large city-centre developments.
  • Strong understanding of slipform construction.
  • Extensive reinforced concrete and basement construction experience.
  • Ability to lead projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and programme management skills.
  • Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
