About the opportunity: Due to company expansion, our client is recruiting permanently for a Pre-Construction Assistant to provide administrative, technical, and commercial support to the pre-construction team in the preparation, coordination, and submission of demolition and enabling works tenders. Reporting directly to the Pre-construction Manager and working closely with estimators and the operational team, you will assist in the development of competitive tender submissions, project documentation and client proposals while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
General duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), tenders and bid documentation.
- Supporting the estimator in compiling demolition and enabling works cost estimates and tender returns.
- Coordinating and maintaining tender schedules, project trackers and bid documentation.
- Obtaining and organising project information, including drawings, specifications, surveys and client requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation of methodologies, programmes, logistics plans and supporting tender documentation.
- Maintaining records of tender opportunities, submissions and outcomes.
- Supporting the production of presentations, capability statements and marketing materials for client meetings and bid submissions.
- Attending site visits, pre-tender meetings and internal project review meetings where required.
- Assisting in handover processes from pre-construction to operational delivery teams following successful contract awards.
