I'm currently working with a leading façade contractor who is looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their expanding technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a business delivering high-profile façade projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. You'll play a key role in coordinating the design process, ensuring technical compliance and supporting successful project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. The Role: * Managing the façade design process from tender stage through to project completion * Coordinating architects, consultants, clients and internal project teams * Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions * Managing external design consultants and specialist subcontract designers * Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, including fire safety requirements * Resolving technical design issues and supporting site teams throughout delivery * Monitoring design programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved What I'm Looking For: * Proven experience as a Design Manager within the façade or cladding sector * Strong technical understanding of rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, glazing or external envelope systems * Experience managing the full design lifecycle on façade projects * Good knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards * Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills What's On Offer: * £65,000 - £85,000 salary depending on experience * Hybrid working * Opportunity to work on landmark façade projects * Long-term career progression within an established and growing contractor * Supportive and collaborative technical team If this sounds of interest, feel free to get in touch for more details
