About the Role:
As an Assistant Technical Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting the technical function across multiple housing projects. Working closely with Technical Managers, Coordinators, engineers and construction teams, you’ll help ensure all design information is accurate, coordinated, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and coordination of design information, ensuring timely issue to relevant teams
- Review architectural and engineering drawings, highlighting discrepancies and helping to resolve technical queries
- Support the preparation and submission of information for planning, building control and warranty providers
- Help manage and update design trackers, document registers and technical schedules
- Liaise with external consultants, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
- Assist with product research, specification reviews and compliance checks
- Provide administrative and project support to the wider Technical team
About the benefits / rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £40k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits including car/car allowance, bonus, private medical cover and enhanced pension scheme.
Requirements:
- Some experience within the housebuilding, construction or architectural sectors (placement or junior role acceptable)
- Understanding of the residential development process and design stages
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
