About the Company
Our client is a well-established UK civil engineering and groundworks contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex infrastructure, groundworks and reinforced concrete projects across the UK.
With a turnover in excess of £100 million, they operate across the industrial, commercial and residential sectors, delivering projects ranging from £1 million to £20 million.
About the Role
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major civil engineering and groundworks package in the East Midlands.
The project includes significant earthworks, infrastructure, road construction and reinforced concrete works, requiring a Project Manager who is confident managing both the technical and operational aspects of a live site.
Acting as the principal point of contact, you will oversee programme delivery, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage client relationships and ensure works are delivered safely on programme and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work.
- About the Requirements
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering and groundworks projects valued at £5m+.
- Strong background in earthworks, roads, drainage and reinforced concrete structures.
- Engineering background preferred.
- Previous experience managing projects as the lead Project Manager.
- Proficient in Asta Powerproject programming.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable.
